Agrogana is a family-owned flower farm producing high-quality roses, ranunculus and eryngium. The farm was founded in 1997, and since then we have worked hard to make our fresh-cut flowers well-known all over the world for their outstanding quality and to make Agrogana what it is today: one of the best and most reliable Ecuadorian partners for your flower business.

Our flowers grow over 3000 meters above sea level in the Avenue of the Volcanoes, the Cotopaxi valley. Climatic factors, soil, elevation alongside with the non-toxic treatment designed and applied by Agrogana experts are the reasons why our flowers have long and strong stems, fresh juicy foliage and amazingly big heads of natural bright colours.

We offer a range of over 90 rose and garden rose varieties, big-bud ranunculus available in more than 10 colours, deep blue and light green eryngium, all of which you can find in OUR VARIETIES.

Our flowers are Fair Trade-certified, which means we are socially and environmentally responsible, taking care of our employees and their children´s well-being, health and education.

Guided by the Fair Trade certification standards, we have developed a number of projects that aim at a better future for all of Agrogana people.
Education
One of our social projects is giving English lessons to our workers’ children. We now have almost 150 pupils between 4 and 16 years old at our extra-curriculum education center. Every afternoon, once normal school classes are finished, the children come to the plantation to study English with a professional English teacher.

Fair Trade premiums have been used to set up a computer classrom for the workers, which helps them to improve their computer literacy.

SOCIAL WORK
-Why choose our store-
SOCIAL WORK
Home improvements
With the Fair Trade-premium money our workers have been able to buy home appliances such as washing machines, water heaters and so on. “Now parents have more time to spend with their children”, says Carmen Pucuji, a worker from Agrogana. This greatly improves the quality of life in general.
Quality of working life
Being commited to human rights compliance, along with women’s rights, Agrogana gives its workers more vacation time, new mothers receive 12 weeks of paid maternity leave, and upon return, are given breaks and a quiet place to breastfeed.
